Collaborate with design and video teams to create engaging content for digital, print, and other formats across various County departments. The role involves comprehensive research, story development, and crafting scripts for diverse channels. Responsibilities also include overseeing studio and field productions, coordinating interviews, scouting locations, and serving as field producer for press events. The position demands independently conceptualizing and directing creative initiatives tailored to client departments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in television/video production, journalism, television news, public relations, communications, or a directly related field.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license required.
  • Additional Requirements: Submission of three (3) writing samples at the time of application. Failure to provide these samples will result in disqualification.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of principles and practices in specialized areas of focus.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to effectively communicate specialized knowledge to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work, including occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds. May require brief periods of standing or walking.
