Kirkland & Ellis LLP is hiring a Conflicts Analyst I for its Business Intake & Conflicts Department. This role involves assisting attorneys in managing ethical and business-related conflicts, performing research, and analyzing data related to new business and new employee hires. The Conflicts Analyst will work globally with attorneys to identify potential risks, ensure compliance with firm policies, and facilitate new business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct conflicts searches and research for new employee hires and business requests.
- Prepare and present well-organized written analyses for new clients and matters.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of searches and research.
- Ensure timely processing of new business requests and collaborate with team members on time-sensitive issues.
- Respond to department emails with accurate and timely information.
- Contribute to process improvements for efficiency and risk reduction.
- Work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; one year of experience in risk management, research, or conflicts searching preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to collaborate well with team members and work under pressure.
- Willingness to engage in conflicts-related training.
Compensation:
- Los Angeles: $69,000 - $98,000
- Bay Area: $69,000 - $100,000
