Position⠀Overview

As⠀communications⠀and public⠀affairs⠀manager,⠀you will⠀play a key⠀role⠀supporting⠀our North⠀American⠀Infrastructure⠀business⠀project⠀and⠀management⠀teams,⠀with⠀special⠀focus on⠀the⠀Northeast⠀United⠀States and⠀eastern⠀Canada⠀regions.⠀Infrastructure⠀is booming⠀and our⠀people are⠀busy: we⠀are⠀seeking⠀someone⠀who is⠀highly⠀motivated,⠀collaborative,⠀and⠀excited at⠀the⠀prospect⠀of⠀managing⠀– and⠀delivering⠀–⠀several⠀communications⠀strategies⠀at⠀once.

Responsibilities

• Strategic⠀communications⠀and media⠀campaign⠀development⠀and⠀delivery⠀for our⠀public⠀infrastructure⠀projects⠀across⠀Northeast⠀United⠀States and⠀Canada
• Stakeholder⠀communication⠀management⠀–⠀customer,⠀community,⠀government,⠀media
• Assisting⠀in⠀developing⠀brand⠀voice and⠀maintaining⠀brand⠀integrity⠀across all⠀platforms
• Assisting⠀in⠀supporting⠀the⠀business⠀development,⠀project(s)⠀and⠀business⠀operation⠀teams to⠀deliver⠀the brand⠀voice⠀through⠀materials,⠀presentations,⠀industry⠀events and⠀conferences
• Managing⠀media⠀relations⠀and⠀developing⠀contacts⠀with local⠀and⠀national⠀press, and⠀industry⠀organizations⠀that⠀publish⠀and⠀influencers⠀and⠀government⠀officials⠀at local⠀and state⠀level
• Preparing⠀and⠀managing⠀all⠀communications⠀for our⠀social⠀media,⠀print and⠀online⠀sites to⠀be used by⠀the⠀Northeast⠀United⠀States and⠀Canadian⠀teams
• Supporting⠀senior⠀management⠀communications⠀both⠀external⠀and⠀internal
• Supporting⠀project⠀related⠀communications⠀both⠀external⠀and⠀internal,⠀as it⠀relates to⠀awards,⠀announcements,⠀updates⠀and shared⠀client⠀communications
• Identifying,⠀managing,⠀and⠀coordinating⠀our⠀presence⠀at⠀industry⠀events,⠀trade⠀shows and⠀conferences.⠀Working⠀with the⠀business⠀development⠀team and⠀management⠀team, work⠀to⠀establish⠀and manage⠀associated⠀budget

Qualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications

• 7-plus⠀years of⠀proven⠀experience⠀as a⠀communications⠀or public⠀relations⠀manager,⠀or⠀similar
• Strong⠀track⠀record⠀building⠀relationships⠀and⠀working⠀successfully⠀with a⠀diverse⠀range of⠀internal⠀and⠀external⠀stakeholders
• Understanding⠀of media⠀relations⠀and⠀digital⠀media and⠀targeted⠀media⠀campaign⠀strategies
• Excellent⠀writing⠀and⠀research⠀skills
• Demonstrable⠀experience⠀of⠀thinking⠀and acting⠀strategically⠀to support⠀business⠀goals
• Ability⠀to⠀articulate⠀complex or⠀technical⠀issues in⠀an easily⠀understood,⠀compelling⠀way
• Strong⠀interpersonal⠀and⠀influencing⠀skills
• Strong⠀attention⠀to⠀detail
• Knowledge⠀of public⠀infrastructure⠀issues⠀and, in⠀time, our⠀business⠀and⠀expertise,⠀to develop⠀the most⠀appropriate⠀communications⠀approaches
