Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to discuss account statuses, consequences, and payment solutions.
- Reduce delinquent days and prevent call and account escalations.
- Work independently in a team-oriented, structured service center.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintaining high accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Engage in risk initiatives and skip tracing as necessary.
- Maintain strict adherence to American Express practices and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years of recent collections experience or 3 years of sales experience with some collections exposure.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to create payment arrangements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
- High attention to detail and understanding of American Express policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and relevant laws.
- Experience in commercial collections and third-party collections.
