The manages structured finance vehicles, including collateralized loan obligations. These vehicles issue both debt and equity, using proceeds to purchase a portfolio of collateral such as syndicated loans, corporate bonds, ABS, MBS, and mezzanine debt. The position focuses on operational accuracy, timely reporting, and portfolio maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Operations:

    • Settle bond and bank loan trades.
    • Invest excess cash based on Portfolio Manager instructions.
    • Book and reconcile portfolio cash inflows/outflows.
  • Data Management:

    • Track asset attributes, including accruals, ratings, and industry classifications.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of portfolio data.
  • Client Reporting:

    • Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly reports for clients.
    • Assist Analysts with preparing investor reports.
  • Issue Resolution:

    • Identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data discrepancies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of indentures and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data interpretation and issue resolution.
