Join our dynamic Property Management team as a Client Accountant, where you'll be responsible for managing client funds for investors, primarily in Abu Dhabi’s growing real estate market. This role will focus on ensuring smooth operations of property accounts, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting the growth of client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily banking and generate receipts in the system with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist in financial audits, providing required documentation.
  • Maintain the Accounts Receivable function, including AR Aging reports to track outstanding invoices and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow statements for landlord accounts.
  • Generate accurate income statements for landlord properties.
  • Collaborate with property managers to ensure financial data accuracy and alignment.
  • Handle tenant queries regarding Statements of Account (SOA) and cleared payments.
  • Manage financial activities for owners association (OA) accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide financial reports and analysis to support landlord decision-making.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation, especially for OA accounts.
  • Assist in annual property service charge audits, working with property managers and service charge auditors to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks/projects as instructed by management.
  • Support a team of accountants in daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and other financial laws.
  • Apply knowledge of VAT and audit processes to the role.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • Strong all-round accounting knowledge, with experience in the book entry process for clients/investment companies (highly desirable).
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills across all business levels and with clients.
  • Knowledge of Owners Association (OA) accounts and their reconciliation.
  • Experience in monthly closing and financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a professional environment, following best practices and processes.
  • Self-motivated with strong ethics and creative problem-solving skills.
