Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Management:

    • Report new claims to carriers within the defined time frame.
    • Contact carrier claims departments to obtain claim numbers and assign adjusters within 48 hours of reporting.
    • Monitor claim progress and update relevant parties as needed.
  • Administrative Support:

    • Assist Claims Team members with documentation, claim kits, and ad hoc projects.
    • Generate loss runs from carrier portals upon request.
    • Maintain accurate records in the EPIC claims management system.
  • Client Advocacy:

    • Communicate directly with clients under the supervision of the Claims Team.
    • Advocate for client interests in all claims-related matters.
  • Learning and Development:

    • Set educational goals to enhance personal performance and industry knowledge.
  • Other Duties:

    • Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in client servicing, administrative support, customer service, or operations.
  • Education: High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Data entry experience and familiarity with EPIC claims management system is advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in documentation and task execution.
  • Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
