Aon is a global leader in risk, retirement, and health solutions. We are looking for a strategic and operationally-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, analysis, and execution for Aon’s North American operations. This high-visibility role will work closely with the North American Leadership Team and senior business leaders to drive profitability and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Execution: Oversee the financial strategy for North America, driving performance across the region.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with senior leadership to develop new services and market offerings, focusing on maximizing profitability and expanding customer bases.
- Product & Client Profitability: Evaluate and optimize product and client profitability to ensure proper margin and return on investment.
- Financial Modeling: Develop detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and drive performance management.
- Performance Management: Implement benchmarks and KPIs to measure and manage the financial performance of the business.
Cost & Efficiency Management
- Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analyses to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and margin expansion.
- Financial Due Diligence: Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, providing valuations and strategic insights.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Financial Reporting: Deliver timely financial reporting, including budgeting and forecasting, while providing transparency into operating performance and efficiency.
- Investment Strategies: Continuously assess and recommend optimal investment strategies to support long-term growth objectives and financial health.
Operational & Strategic Leadership
- Global Strategy Alignment: Align financial plans with the business goals and objectives, ensuring sustainable growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of finance professionals across the region, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

You Bring
Experience
- Proven Leadership: 15+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or related roles, ideally within a global, matrix organization.
- High-Performance Track Record: Strong background in P&L management, corporate planning, and operational leadership with consistent high performance in financial and strategic management.
- M&A Expertise: Experience leading financial due diligence and valuation analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
