Current Opportunity: Chief Executive Officer

Good+Foundation is seeking a visionary CEO to build upon its growth and impact, managing an annual budget of over $20 million and leading a team of approximately 23 staff members across New York and Los Angeles. The CEO will report to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for strategic development, financial management, fundraising, and program development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Executive Leadership and Management:

    • Inspire a results-driven environment and mentor team leaders.
    • Regularly assess risks and external challenges to develop strategic responses.
  2. Development:

    • Support fundraising strategies to meet annual goals.
    • Cultivate relationships with new donors and maintain financial stability.
  3. Board Governance:

    • Foster strong relationships with Board members, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with governance policies and best practices.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Oversee the organization’s fiscal integrity and budget development.
    • Review financial statements and develop strategies for long-term financial sustainability.
  5. Program Development:

    • Stay informed about industry innovations and share insights with the team.
    • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and assess program impact.

Qualifications

    • Proven development experience with high-net-worth individuals and foundations.

    • Understanding of nonprofit accounting and business models.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
