Chemical Operator Level hour rotating shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Catalyst Process Unit:

  • Follow standard work procedures to operate a station in a catalyst process unit.
  • Certify on multiple stations and stay updated with improvements on how to operate each station.
  • Write end-of-shift reports and participate in shift exchange at the beginning and end of each shift.

• Shift Operations & Team Meetings:

  • Participate in production meetings at the start of each shift and provide updates.
  • Engage in the Structured Safety Process (SSP), completing necessary safety activities and precautions monthly.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement activities and contribute ideas to improve quality, cost, and delivery.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure that work in the immediate area adheres to safety standards and procedures.
  • Follow leadership instructions and attend required meetings.
  • Participate in Rapid Problem Solving activities when production falls short of targets.

• Work Shift:

  • 12-hour rotating shifts, alternating between days (5:00 am - 5:00 pm) and nights (5:00 pm - 5:00 am).
  • The work cycle includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for one rotation, and Thursday and Friday for the following rotation.

Qualifications:

• US Person Requirement:

  • Due to US export control laws, candidates must be a US Citizen, US permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the US.

• Required Experience:

  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or service industry environment.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • 2+ years of troubleshooting experience.

Special Considerations:

• Lifting up to 30 lbs and potential repetitive lifting may be required.
• Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, or physical risks is expected in this role.
