Cashier cum Receptionist

The⠀cashiers⠀job will⠀involve⠀receiving⠀and⠀counting⠀money,⠀using⠀electronic⠀devices,⠀cash⠀registers⠀and⠀related⠀equipment.⠀Calculate⠀and⠀reconcile⠀the totals⠀at the end⠀of the⠀shift Your⠀job⠀responsibilities⠀include⠀but not⠀limited⠀to:

Receive⠀payment by⠀cash,⠀check,⠀credit⠀cards,⠀vouchers,⠀or⠀automatic⠀debits.

Issue⠀receipts,⠀refunds,⠀credits,⠀or change⠀due to⠀drivers/customers.

Count⠀money in⠀cash⠀drawers at⠀the⠀beginning⠀of shifts⠀to ensure⠀that⠀amounts⠀are⠀correct⠀and that⠀there is⠀adequate⠀change.

Greet⠀customers⠀entering⠀establishments.

Answer⠀customers'⠀questions,⠀and⠀provide⠀information⠀on⠀procedures⠀or⠀policies.

Assure⠀high⠀standards⠀of⠀housekeeping⠀and⠀adherence⠀to work⠀wear⠀policies

Ensure⠀timely and⠀full⠀completion⠀of all⠀supporting⠀documentation.

Follow⠀the⠀standard⠀operating⠀procedures⠀(SOPs).

Keep⠀periodic⠀balance⠀sheets of⠀amounts⠀and⠀numbers of⠀transactions

Assure⠀all⠀Company⠀security⠀procedures⠀are⠀adhered to⠀at all⠀times.

Ensure⠀a full⠀audit⠀trail is⠀maintained⠀for values⠀transferred⠀to and⠀from the⠀area

Sort,⠀count, and⠀wrap⠀currency⠀and⠀coins.

Verify⠀discrepancy⠀claims⠀paperwork⠀and⠀supporting⠀documentation

Verify⠀unclimbable⠀losses and⠀investigate⠀potential⠀causes

Assure⠀the area⠀is kept⠀clean and⠀free of⠀hazards⠀and Health⠀& Safety⠀issues are⠀reported
