Position:

  • CAD Drafter

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee architectural design and production work for multiple projects.
  • Maximize team productivity and ensure professional integrity.
  • Review and approve third-party design consultants’ work.
  • Present designs to ensure satisfaction and make revisions as needed.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and design tasks.
  • Maintain and establish CAD standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Provide design solutions, planning, site development, and due diligence.
  • Ensure all architectural work meets quality standards and deadlines.
  • Prepare CAD drawings for submittals, permit approvals, and construction documents.
  • Act as the Division Box.com Administrator and handle file management.
  • Review civil and architectural construction documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-6 years of AutoCAD experience (2006 or higher) in the Architectural discipline. Revit experience preferred.
  • Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Architecture, Drafting/Design, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of drafting/design experience in high-volume production homebuilding.
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, detail-oriented with the ability to handle simultaneous deadlines.
  • Additional: Valid driver’s license, ability to accept constructive feedback, and capability to work well in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $22.97 - $34, adjusted based on qualifications, geographic location, and business factors.
