Description Job Description

Braintree, PayPal's enterprise merchant platform, helps companies securely move money across various locations. Hyperwallet, our payouts solution, enables merchants to pay out funds to customers, third parties, or sub-merchants. If you’ve used PayPal to pay for services like Uber or Airbnb, you’ve interacted with our products. While complex, our solutions make these processes seamless for users.

Our Enterprise product risk and operations team plays a central role in the Braintree and Payouts organization at PayPal, supporting key initiatives. This team manages the risk environment for these products, handles operational processes, and leads risk remediation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer the product launch review process, ensuring smooth and compliant product introductions.
  • Provide post-launch support to product, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Participate in the issue management process, documenting solutions and tracking remediation tasks.
  • Maintain Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool data for areas of responsibility.
  • Support the risk assessment process by creating and maintaining risk and control inventories.
  • Lead or assist in operational processes for Braintree and Payouts products.

Requirements:

  • Passion for problem-solving and identifying solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to meet deadlines and manage documentation.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to understand the bigger picture and envision ways to improve operational efficiency.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn the payments ecosystem and our product suite.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable working with data analysis tools like Excel to assess the impact of potential issues or improvements.

Compensation:

PayPal is committed to fair compensation based on location, skills, and experience. For the U.S., the annual pay range for this role is $43,400 to $111,980. The role may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

By joining PayPal, you'll become part of a team that's focused on creating a more equitable and inclusive global economy while helping our customers thrive in an ever-evolving digital world.
