Position Overview:
IntelePeer is actively seeking a seasoned Sales Development Representative (SDR) who excels in driving and delivering Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and qualifying sales opportunities, targeting both existing and prospective clients. This role is essential to IntelePeer’s growth strategy and will play a key role in shaping the future of the Sales Development department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:

    • Identify and target key accounts among existing clients.
    • Nurture and expand the sales pipeline through phone, email, and social media prospecting campaigns.
    • Partner with Account Managers to coordinate outreach and manage the buyer’s journey.
  • Sales Development:

    • Manage and overcome objections during the sales process.
    • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs related to activity metrics.
    • Maintain and manage a client and prospect pipeline in Salesforce.
    • Execute weekly and monthly sales campaigns and cadences through CRM.
    • Engage with prospects to drive sales-qualified leads.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    • Solicit and develop new accounts and prospects through high-volume calling.
    • Research and gather contact details from provided leads and lists.

Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • 2+ years in a Sales Development Representative role or a related inside sales position, preferably in SaaS or a related field.
    • Proven success as an SDR or Sales Representative, with experience in phone, email, and social media prospecting.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
    • Experience with SalesLoft preferred but not required.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Ability to build rapport with clients and cultivate prospects.
    • Understanding of SaaS sales and recurring revenue models.
    • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, presentation, oral, and abstract reasoning.
    • Strong time management skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
    • Initiative, self-motivation, proactivity, and resourcefulness.
    • A team player with a willingness to assist others.
    • Metrics-driven with a strong work ethic.
