Position Overview:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Qualifacts, you will be the driving force behind lead generation for our marketing and sales teams. This role involves identifying and developing qualified leads, scheduling meetings for Account Executives, and conducting research to gather prospect details. You will qualify cold and warm leads through outbound calls and emails, nurture prospects through initial conversations, and contribute to the sales pipeline.

Successful candidates for this role are self-motivated, creative, competitive, and excellent communicators. They thrive in a collaborative environment, have strong time management skills, and are eager to learn and help others. This role reports to the marketing department and works closely with the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:

    • Contact and qualify cold and warm prospects via phone and email.
    • Schedule and conduct discovery calls/demos with potential clients.
    • Work closely with Account Executives to nurture prospects and develop them into qualified sales opportunities.
    • Meet and exceed lead generation KPIs and sales opportunity quotas.
  • Sales Activity Documentation:

    • Accurately document all sales activities and prospective customer details in Salesforce.
    • Contribute to CRM data integrity by consistently managing and enriching data.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Focus on team contributions while also achieving personal success in lead generation efforts.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the marketing and sales teams.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience required; 3+ years preferred.
  • Healthcare or SaaS-related sales experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective customers at all levels, from frontline staff to C-suite executives.
  • Driven and proactive, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to quickly learn new industry terminology and concepts.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud-based tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter who is relentlessly positive, eager to learn, coachable, and focused on achieving results.
