Role Overview
As a Business Development Advisor, you will be integral to the firm’s Business Development (BD) team, focusing on delivering high-quality proposal documents, coordinating response teams, developing impactful client messaging, and ensuring alignment with internal resources. This role encompasses tasks such as leading kick-off meetings, creating and refining pitch documents, managing client-focused proposals, and maintaining compliance with client requirements. The role also involves close collaboration with finance, compliance, and DEI teams to support strategic BD efforts across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Conduct kick-off meetings, establish messaging, timelines, and collaborate with BD teams, partners, and firm resources.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation and refinement of pitch documents, credentials statements, and responses to RFPs.
  • Client Preparation: Prepare response teams for client presentations and ensure adherence to client requirements.
  • Confidentiality Management: Handle and protect sensitive information in compliance with firm standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with finance, compliance, and other departments to align resources and messaging.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in a strategic business development role with a focus on pitches and proposals, and at least five years in a legal, financial, or professional services environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in pitch management tools, ability to work independently under deadlines, and strong critical thinking skills.
