This is a remote-based role, with a preference for candidates working US Eastern or Central time hours.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Process Facilitation:
- Load time and expense data into Excel templates and distribute them to Project Managers (PM) or Senior Project Managers (SPM) to initiate monthly billing.
- Assist in drafting and finalizing invoices directly in Workday.
- Data and Project Integrity:
- Maintain accurate project and billing data in Workday.
- Generate Workday reports to manage projects effectively.
- Billing and Accrual Management:
- Post billing-related items in Workday and on shared drives.
- Create and manage billing-related accruals.
- Ad Hoc Reporting:
- Assist with reporting needs, utilizing Excel formulas to prepare and present information.
- Liaison between PM/SPM and Accounting:
- Ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition by working closely with PMs/SPMs and the accounting team.
- Contract Implementation:
- Review and understand contracts, agreements, and terms to support accurate billing.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review project and contract set-ups in Workday to ensure accuracy.
- e-Billing Support:
- Assist the e-Billing team with invoice submission, accruals, and follow-up.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4-6 years of relevant business experience.
- Finance or accounting background is preferred.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of general accounting principles related to billings and A/R.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Workday Financials and Alteryx is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while adhering to service level metrics.
- Ability to effectively follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
