The⠀SI Team is⠀looking⠀for an⠀Associate⠀Investment⠀Manager⠀(AIM) to⠀support⠀the⠀Managing⠀Investment⠀Director⠀(MID) in⠀developing,⠀implementing,⠀and⠀managing⠀new⠀external⠀investment⠀manager⠀engagement⠀programs,⠀ensuring a⠀consistent⠀and robust⠀manager⠀selection,⠀and⠀reporting⠀practices⠀for all⠀asset⠀classes,⠀mandates,⠀and⠀initiatives.⠀The AIM⠀will work⠀closely⠀with other⠀asset⠀classes,⠀such as⠀Private⠀Equity, to⠀develop,⠀process⠀and⠀diligence⠀new⠀diverse⠀and/or⠀emerging⠀manager⠀programs⠀and⠀investments.⠀Act as⠀both an⠀investor⠀using an⠀allocation⠀to the SI⠀unit⠀(primarily⠀for⠀investments⠀in Private⠀Equity⠀funds and⠀co-investments⠀with such⠀funds),⠀and an⠀advisor to⠀the MID⠀and other⠀Asset⠀Classes on⠀sustainable⠀investment⠀opportunities.

Duties⠀include⠀but are⠀not⠀limited⠀to:

• Oversee⠀the⠀Emerging⠀Manager⠀Program.
• High-level⠀reports⠀for INVO⠀Executive⠀Office,⠀INVO⠀senior⠀management,⠀the⠀CalPERS⠀Investment⠀Committee,⠀and the⠀enterprise⠀senior⠀staff.
• Lead⠀INVO⠀communication⠀with⠀external⠀stakeholders⠀and the⠀institutional⠀investor⠀community⠀to support⠀understanding⠀about⠀CalPERS⠀and INVO⠀organization,⠀asset⠀class⠀strategies⠀and⠀approaches.
