Job Responsibilities

  • Verify site readiness for pre-installation requirements and conduct product inventory. Address issues with the internal team to ensure resolution.
  • Install surgical light suspension systems, surgical booms, video integration systems, and associated cabling for video signals, as well as ancillary equipment like room cameras and monitors, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Program, test, and inspect video integration sources as per design specifications.
  • Perform functional and quality checks for equipment and document findings prior to project completion.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, performing repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and related activities.
  • Provide daily updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Interpret technical drawings, such as wiring diagrams and CAD designs, to guide installations.
  • Arrange travel logistics as required and manage schedules for timely project execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, provide operational training, and address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Maintain tools and equipment inventory while ensuring proper usage.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and promote adherence to safe practices.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work with equipment like ladders and material lifts.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and with large construction or medical equipment.
  • Must have clear communication skills and the ability to travel frequently with a valid driver's license.

Mental Requirements

  • Team-oriented with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail in following technical instructions and documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of relevant technical experience in fields like telecom, video/audio installation, or electrical/construction.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
