The Associate HRIS Analyst will support HUB’s Human Capital Management (HCM) business processes by utilizing their experience with Workday. This role focuses on maintaining the efficient operation of the Workday HR system, ensuring it meets the needs of both employees and the business. The position requires hands-on experience with HR Information Systems, specifically Workday, and exposure to areas such as Onboarding, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Absence, and Recruiting. The analyst will manage the Workday Help ticketing queue, provide tier 1 support, assist with system configuration, testing, and perform ongoing maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Workday configuration and provide support across various modules, including Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Absence.
- Manage Workday updates and releases, reviewing release notes, testing system changes, and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Respond to HRIS support requests, troubleshoot system issues, and help resolve tickets.
- Help manage Workday Help knowledge base and case management tools.
- Provide user support by answering questions and guiding users on system navigation and functionality.
- Collaborate with HR teams to gather system requirements and assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update HRIS documentation, including user guides and process manuals.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and data analysis to assist in decision-making processes.
- Assist with training system users and developing job aids and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Human Resources, Business) or 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Workday.
- Familiarity with Workday modules such as HCM, Performance & Talent, Recruiting, Absence, Payroll, or Benefits.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Basic understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on assisting others.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of change management is a bonus.
