Associate Analyst

This role is a hybrid position, combining in-office and remote work. The hybrid model offers flexibility, with in-office presence based on the nature of the work and team needs, and remote work for the remainder of the time. The position also includes a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset internet and phone costs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the development and implementation of portfolio strategies tailored to diverse products and objectives for the Allstate enterprise.
• Assist portfolio managers (PMs) with portfolio construction, risk monitoring, benchmark changes, and reporting.
• Monitor liquidity needs and collaborate with internal and external managers to enhance investment performance.
• Participate in weekly meetings with investment teams to optimize portfolio alignment with benchmarks and policy allocations.
• Identify improvements in reporting processes for liquidity, asset allocation, and risk management.
• Utilize the Aladdin platform to oversee client portfolios, including risk tools, asset positioning modules, and portfolio setup.
• Assist in preparing investment materials for Board meetings, collaborating with Legal, PMs, and performance teams.
• Help with underwriting, onboarding, and monitoring external managers across equity and fixed income strategies.
• Summarize quarterly performance reviews and participate in the onboarding of new managers for private credit mandates.
• Compile performance data and create charts using eVestment to compare asset managers to their peers.
• Support Treasury by reviewing cash flow requirements and updates on corporate initiatives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role does not involve supervisory duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree required.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

No specific certifications or licenses required.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools.
• Familiarity with BlackRock’s Aladdin system and eVestment is a plus.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

COMPENSATION

The role offers an annual salary of $75,000 to $108,750, based on experience and qualifications.
