As the Assistant Manager, Move Programs, you will oversee the Move Ambassador team, managing Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) services across Amazon campuses. Your role involves leading and supporting staff, managing recruitment, performance, and employee relations, and ensuring high standards of service and communication throughout the relocation process.

What You Will Do:

People Management:

  • Provide management and leadership to the Move Ambassador team.
  • Develop individualized goals and training plans for employee growth.
  • Handle staff performance, including corrective actions and performance discussions.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and termination processes in partnership with HR.
  • Build trust and manage relationships with diverse team members and stakeholders.
  • Foster teamwork and resolve conflicts effectively.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure service level agreements and operational standards are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor day-to-day service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Facilitate change management and drive complex programs across multiple stakeholders.
  • Identify and address challenges, communicate solutions, and track activity with reports and dashboards.
  • Lead additional projects as assigned.

Customer Experience:

  • Serve as liaison between Northwest Center, Amazon, and vendors to enhance the Amazon brand experience.
  • Provide elevated customer support for Amazon employees and vendor partners.
  • Partner with the Lead to handle escalated situations during the move process.

Who You Are:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years in customer service or administrative support.
    • At least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Minimum 2 years in project/program management or business operations.
  • Skills:
    • Commitment to inclusion and ability to work in a diverse environment.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the “big picture.”
    • Passionate about fostering an inclusive culture through various initiatives.
    • Good judgment, creative problem-solving, and adaptability to change.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Frequent carrying and lifting of a backpack containing a laptop and other supplies (up to 50 pounds).
  • Ability to walk consistently within a 1.5-mile radius.
  • Variable working hours, including early arrivals, late stays, and occasional evening and weekend shifts.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to see at both distance and close range and understand speech.
  • Dog-friendly environment with over 1000 dogs on campus.
