About the Strategy Team

The Strategy team manages mission-critical projects that range from developing growth strategies and assessing new market opportunities to implementing organizational restructurings and operational efficiencies. Projects are typically team-based and involve close collaboration with senior executives.

Job Responsibilities

As an Asset Wealth Management Strategy Associate, you will play a pivotal role in propelling key projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Development: Develop strategic priorities for the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) line of business, serving as an objective thought partner to the C-Suite and other senior leaders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teams across lines of business (LOBs) and functional areas, including data science, finance, product, and marketing.
  • Analytical Structuring: Structure and build quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze operational and financial data to inform decision-making.
  • Research: Research and analyze the industry landscape to evaluate new opportunities and identify emerging trends.
  • Executive Communications: Support the creation of CEO-level executive communications and presentations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years in consulting with a top-tier management consulting firm, internal consulting, or corporate strategy team, or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to provide structure in ambiguous situations and apply analytical tools to develop solutions.
  • Client Management: Strong client management and executive-level communication skills.
  • Team Orientation: Open, collaborative, and team-oriented operating style.
  • Education: BA/BS required.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Industry Knowledge: Financial services background, particularly in asset and wealth management, preferred but not mandatory.
  • Data Application: Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in a fast-moving environment.
