The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the review and implementation of strategic business plans across various sectors that Ryan Companies operates in. The role focuses on enhancing property values and creating positive resident experiences by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in decision-making. This role will also involve close collaboration with various departments to ensure a cohesive, team-oriented approach.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Load financial data into the Asset Management system and review monthly property reports and cash flow forecasts.
    • Work with Asset Managers on financial variances and accounts receivable concerns.
  • Benchmarking and Reporting:
    • Perform property benchmarking analysis, comparing performance to other Ryan communities and industry standards.
    • Prepare reports on individual community performance, leasing status, and other key metrics.
  • Investment Partner Reporting:
    • Assist in preparing investment partner presentation reports and investment memorandums.
  • Strategic Recommendations:
    • Provide financial assessments and recommendations on overall investment strategies.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct research on competitive markets and demographic trends relevant to the portfolio’s geographic area.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain a project database containing key indicators, performance details, and project specifics for quick reference.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work effectively with departments such as accounting, legal, and investments to ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of relevant financial analytical experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, modeling, and property management processes.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and analysis.

Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $67,200 - $84,000 (Base pay)
  • Additional Compensation: May include commissions and incentive programs.
