The Art Director will lead the creative services team in developing and approving marketing campaign assets, social campaigns, corporate decks, web, print, and email layouts. This role requires a strong graphic designer with copywriting skills, who can create comprehensive brand campaigns for multiple properties. The Art Director will produce creative work on deadline, utilizing brand-approved art and style guides, and inspire the team with positive reinforcement.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure design cohesion and high-quality creative across all projects.
- Interpret creative briefs and execute projects that exceed basic design standards.
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Photo Producers, and Video Producers to create strategic and on-brand concepts, copy, and layouts.
- Manage photo producers and shoots to capture necessary images for campaign creative.
- Develop and maintain art and style guides for Feld and Feld Licensed IPs.
- Adapt creative based on feedback from Brand, Global Partnerships, Licensing, and Corporate Communications.
- Present ideas and communicate effectively with senior leadership and external partners.
- Stay updated on digital and social trends to guide future content creation and promotion.
Job Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience as an Art Director or Senior Graphic Designer.
- Comprehensive portfolio showcasing strong creative direction, typography, photo direction, and image-making for leading brands.
- Strategic understanding of experience design, marketing, branding, digital product design, and agile methodologies.
- Experience in recruiting talent and developing graphic artists.
- Knowledge of emerging tools, technology, and business practices for digital media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator on Apple platforms.
- Ability to manage various creative projects, production work, and presentation decks.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to mentor less experienced staff.
- Additional skills in traditional illustration, 3D software, motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects), and HTML5 are a plus.
