Your Responsibilities

As an Art Director, you will:

  • Partner with copywriters and other creatives to translate ideas into compelling, customer-focused stories.
  • Develop mood boards, visuals, and storytelling to bring concepts to life.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and provide art direction for photography and video shoots.
  • Guide designers through the creative process, ensuring alignment with Abbott’s brand strategy.
  • Present creative ideas and solutions effectively to internal clients and teams.
  • Ensure all creative outputs adhere to approved brand and messaging guidelines.

Your Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in art direction or senior graphic design (internal/external agency preferred).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative ideas that align with brand strategies.
  • Proven ability to work within a singular brand and maximize its creative potential.
  • Experience leading a team of designers and managing projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $72,700 - $145,300 (varies by location).
