- Duties⠀will⠀include,⠀but not be⠀limited to⠀the⠀following:
- Design⠀Documentation:⠀The BIM⠀technician⠀is⠀responsible⠀for⠀day-to-day⠀design⠀documentation⠀of⠀architectural⠀packages.
- Building⠀Information⠀Modeling:⠀Develops⠀Building⠀Information⠀Models⠀based on⠀technical⠀designs⠀and⠀utilizes⠀advanced⠀knowledge⠀of⠀relevant⠀design and⠀drafting⠀principles.
- Collaboration:⠀Works⠀closely⠀with other⠀disciplines/offices⠀to produce⠀detailed⠀documents⠀and⠀drawings⠀that align⠀with the⠀project's⠀brief,⠀scope, and⠀specifications.
- Coordination:⠀Coordinates⠀the⠀production⠀of⠀architectural⠀documentation⠀and⠀ensures⠀adherence⠀to BIM⠀standards.
- Workflow⠀Development:⠀Develops⠀workflows⠀and⠀processes⠀to⠀maintain⠀BIM⠀standards,⠀including⠀quality⠀assurance⠀documents⠀and⠀flowcharts.
- Quality⠀Assurance:⠀Oversees⠀and⠀performs⠀quality⠀checks on⠀design and⠀technical⠀documentation.
- Mentoring:⠀Mentors⠀and shares⠀knowledge⠀with the⠀design⠀team,⠀especially⠀regarding⠀Technical⠀Delivery⠀and Model⠀development.
To be successful in this role, you should posses:
- Excellent⠀level of⠀presentation⠀and⠀communication⠀skills –⠀both oral⠀and⠀written.
- Technical⠀capability⠀of BIM LOD⠀300 with⠀knowledge⠀of 400 and⠀500.
- Team⠀player,⠀cooperative⠀with other⠀staff with⠀open⠀sharing of⠀information⠀and⠀knowledge.
- Ability⠀to work⠀without⠀direct⠀supervision⠀in regard⠀to⠀modelling⠀and⠀documentation⠀tasks.
- Ability⠀to meet⠀challenging⠀deadlines⠀and⠀delegate⠀tasks to⠀staff in⠀cooperation⠀with⠀Project⠀Managers.
- Excellent⠀judgement⠀and⠀decisiveness.
- Implementation⠀of BIM⠀Management⠀systems⠀across the⠀QOC in⠀accordance⠀with RIBA⠀Plan of⠀Work and⠀the suit⠀of PAS⠀1192⠀codes
