Application Engineer

SAMSON⠀CONTROLS⠀SOLUTIONS,⠀ABU DHABI⠀is looking⠀for⠀Application⠀Engineer⠀to provide⠀quality &⠀professional⠀technical⠀proposal⠀and⠀Engineering⠀support to⠀SAMSON⠀GROUP⠀customer⠀base in⠀Middle⠀East/Africa⠀regions.⠀Based in⠀Abu Dhabi,⠀UAE, the⠀Individual⠀will be⠀responsible⠀for⠀sizing,⠀selection⠀and⠀pricing of⠀Rotary⠀Valve⠀products⠀of SAMSON⠀GROUP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The⠀application⠀Engineer⠀must work⠀with the⠀customer⠀to define⠀their⠀requirements⠀and should⠀be⠀customer⠀centric in⠀execution⠀of their⠀tasks.⠀Work⠀closely⠀with them⠀in⠀proposing⠀the right⠀solution.
• Support⠀outside⠀sales team⠀and⠀customers⠀/ EPCs in⠀the Oil &⠀Gas⠀industry⠀with⠀techno⠀commercial⠀proposals⠀for⠀focused⠀Isolation,⠀automated⠀Ball valve⠀of SAMSON⠀Group.
• Provides⠀technical⠀expertise,⠀applications⠀review,⠀product⠀information⠀and⠀selection⠀of SAMSON⠀products⠀such as⠀Ball, DBB⠀Valves.
• Provides⠀sales team⠀and⠀customers⠀with⠀technical⠀and⠀commercial⠀quotations⠀specifying⠀all the⠀technical⠀and⠀commercial⠀terms and⠀conditions.
• Presents⠀applications⠀and⠀product⠀information⠀at⠀training⠀seminars.
• Reviews⠀customer⠀purchase⠀orders /⠀contracts⠀for⠀correct⠀pricing⠀and⠀specifications⠀/part⠀numbers⠀and⠀processes⠀according⠀to SAMSON⠀procedures.
• Reviews⠀customer’s⠀specifications⠀and works⠀with them⠀to propose⠀a⠀solution.
• Isolation⠀valve &⠀actuator⠀sizing⠀selection.
• Report⠀to⠀Management⠀on⠀Percentage⠀of⠀Completion⠀jobs⠀progress,⠀monthly/weekly/whenever⠀required⠀by the⠀Management.
• Ready⠀for⠀travelling⠀abroad for⠀training /⠀customer⠀meeting
• Prepared⠀to work⠀out of⠀office⠀hours to⠀complete⠀the task⠀in hand⠀when⠀requested⠀to do so.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s⠀degree in⠀Mechanical⠀Engineering
• 3⠀- 5 years⠀of⠀experience⠀in reputed⠀ball valve⠀industry
• Experience⠀working⠀with EPCs⠀and⠀general⠀contractors⠀covering⠀major Oil⠀& Gas⠀specifications⠀such as⠀SHELL,⠀TOTAL,⠀ADNOC,⠀ARAMCO⠀etc.
• Valve⠀sizing and⠀selection⠀experience⠀(Ball⠀Valve /⠀actuators)
• Strong⠀verbal and⠀communication⠀skills
• Strong⠀personal⠀discipline.
• Experience⠀in working⠀with⠀sizing and⠀selection⠀tool
• Fluent⠀in using⠀Microsoft⠀Office⠀products.

Salary: AED8,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
