Horizon Media’s Paid Search Specialist role focuses on managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across platforms like Google AdWords, Yahoo!, Bing, and various bid management tools, all while upholding Horizon’s commitment to a welcoming, empowering workplace. As part of the team, you’ll be tasked with both the strategic and hands-on aspects of paid search, working towards campaign efficiency, analyzing performance, and identifying new growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management (50%): Oversee the creation, tracking, analysis, and optimization of paid search campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google AdWords and bid management systems like Kenshoo and Marin.
  • Bidding & Keywords (20%): Design effective bidding strategies and manage keywords to achieve acquisition goals and efficiency targets.
  • Reporting & Analysis (20%): Generate and analyze performance reports regularly, communicate results to clients, and troubleshoot data anomalies.
  • Testing & Strategy (10%): Support test roadmap creation and quarterly planning to identify and implement business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative skills, especially in Excel, and enthusiasm for measuring SEM success.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, effective communicator in both written and spoken contexts.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Team-Oriented: Flexible, professional, and dedicated to team success, including guiding junior team members and fostering diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6 months to 1+ years of experience in search engine marketing (SEM) on platforms like Google, Yahoo!, or Bing.
  • Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, advanced Excel, and SEM best practices.

Compensation & Benefits:

Horizon offers a competitive base salary of $62,400-$70,000, based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
