The Analyst, Project Community Affairs will lead local outreach initiatives and serve as a key liaison with county and municipal officials, local taxing entities, chambers of commerce, and Economic Development Organizations within Invenergy's development areas. This role supports the development of renewable energy projects across the United States and involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster community engagement and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Invenergy's representative in meetings with landowners, public stakeholders, and community groups, including preparing and executing effective outreach strategies.
  • Participate in public meetings, providing support to team members to ensure smooth execution.
  • Communicate the benefits of renewable energy projects to community members and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the design and execution of structured community relations programs to support Invenergy’s development and operational projects.
  • Coordinate internal and external technical resources to manage tasks within defined budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with public engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with project developers to create and implement strategies for community engagement and external relations from project initiation through construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.
