Join Team Amex as an Information Security Analyst and contribute to safeguarding the company's information systems and ensuring regulatory compliance. In this role, you'll assist in developing and implementing information security policies, managing security controls, and providing analytical support for incident management and project assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and review compliance with AXP and information security policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of security policies, including reviewing violation reports and investigating exceptions.
- Prepare materials such as status reports, data reports, and presentations for decision-making.
Documentation and Analysis:
- Maintain and update internal documentation to reflect current processes and requirements.
- Provide root cause analysis for incident management and post-implementation efforts.
- Analyze trends and action plans related to information security and other domains.
Project Support:
- Consult on controls, processes, and procedures.
- Facilitate meetings to document changes in products, services, or processes.
- Provide analytical support for issue management, project assessments, and reporting.
Communication and Impact:
- Ensure adherence to security standards and procedures.
- Communicate effectively, translating complex ideas and concepts clearly.
- Involve relevant stakeholders in decision-making processes and adapt plans based on changing circumstances.
Knowledge/Skills:
Core Skills:
- Strong work prioritization, planning, and cross-demographic collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and challenge current approaches.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with regulatory compliance, assurance, and security methodologies.
- Proficiency in desktop software (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel) and office automation tools.
- Experience with collecting functional requirements, deploying information security tools, and data analysis.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, assurance, or security methodologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management and data analysis.
Preferred:
- Agile experience.
- Experience with process improvement and collaboration.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually, plus bonus and benefits.
