As a Security Analyst Intern, you will assist in the development, testing, and implementation of security plans and products, contributing to the company's overall cybersecurity strategy. You will also coordinate the reporting of data security incidents and provide technical support to clients and management teams. You will be involved in risk assessments, the implementation of security procedures, and the execution of security controls to protect the company from potential security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security plans and control techniques.
  • Help report data security incidents and support management and staff in resolving them.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support the implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products.
  • Monitor and maintain security controls to prevent unauthorized access and threats to company information and e-commerce programs.
  • Investigate and research attempts to compromise security protocols and work on incident response.
  • Administer security policies that control access to systems and ensure the company firewall is properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members to address security-related issues and improve security measures.
  • Analyze security data and make recommendations for improvements to the company's security infrastructure.
  • Work within defined procedures and practices to make decisions on appropriate actions in response to security incidents.

Required Background:

  • Current Year Up intern with Bank of America.
  • 1-3 years of IT experience with exposure to basic security principles, concepts, and techniques.
  • Knowledge and awareness of security risks, data protection measures, and basic technical support procedures.

Work Environment:

  • Shift: 1st Shift (Standard business hours).
  • Hours per Week: 40 hours.
