As a Business Management Associate within the JPMorgan Asset Management Alternatives team, you’ll support the Real Estate Americas (REA) business in its operational and strategic functions. This role involves working with internal stakeholders across departments to manage business process projects, handle new product initiatives, and serve as a key liaison for audits and compliance exams. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within the real estate investment management sector, including exposure to new product builds and platform management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management and Product Support:

    • Assist in New Business Initiative Approvals (NBIA) by coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Tax, Audit, Financial, and Control Management teams.
    • Oversee the project management lifecycle for new or restructured products, ensuring operational readiness.
    • Support governance bodies, including the US Real Estate Oversight Committee and Valuations Committee.
  • Audit and Compliance:

    • Act as the primary contact between REA and control functions during internal audits and compliance exams.
    • Organize data collection for Dodd-Frank/Financial Reform and other regulatory requirements.
  • System and Process Management:

    • Manage CORE assessments for REA and support the User Tools (UT) program.
    • Administer the Guideline Compliance System.
    • Supervise the India Business Management support team.
    • Manage Business Continuity Plan and REA facilities and space coordination.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with experience managing ad-hoc projects independently.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and sound judgment.
  • Experience working with senior managers and specialized professionals.
  • Interest in real estate investment management.
