Job Description
As an intern in Healthcare Administration, you will have the opportunity to work alongside leadership and contribute to various hospital operations. The position involves analyzing departmental and hospital-wide activities, researching and preparing reports, and supporting special projects within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective behaviors in line with the organization’s core competencies.
  • Complete a comprehensive orientation to Lurie Children's Hospital to gain insight into hospital management and pediatric healthcare operations.
  • Research, analyze, and investigate activities impacting both hospital-wide and departmental operations.
  • Attend meetings and participate on committees as needed.
  • Assist in completing special projects and assignments directed by the team.
  • Contribute to the development of clear and concise reports and presentations.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, nursing, finance, or a related field.
  • Completion of the first year of a Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills for developing and preparing reports, as well as addressing hospital operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, for report preparation and formal presentations.
