Role Overview

As a Business Development Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of business development initiatives, handling the logistics, scheduling, and organization of new business pitches. This position provides substantial exposure to executive management and high-level strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Logistics: Lead and manage all logistical aspects of the business development process, including scheduling, meeting preparations, studio requests, and travel plans for pitch meetings.
  • Pitch Preparation: Create and distribute agendas, manage attendees, and ensure all materials, including decks, are prepared for pitches. Develop “Get Smarts” materials, such as company overviews and competitive analysis.
  • Project Coordination: Support the Business Development (BD) and Project Management (PM) teams, ensuring efficient pitch progression from RFP to proposal. Coordinate with other departments to update case studies, organize proposal documents, and manage meeting calendars.
  • PR & Marketing Support: Manage press and marketing materials, working closely with the press team and keeping social media templates and content organized.
  • Data Management: Oversee updates to new business trackers, case study libraries, and organizational documents in Google Drive.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 2-3 years in business development, preferably within a creative agency setting
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Keynote
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional time-management, detail-oriented, and capable of handling last-minute changes
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal abilities, with a client-service orientation
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to changing responsibilities and priorities
