About the Role: Account Manager - Supplement Market

The Account Manager role is focused on the Supplement End Use Market in North America. This position entails promoting Kerry’s innovative product portfolio for supplements, managing contract manufacturing relationships, and supporting the growth of private labels, emerging brands, and CPG markets. This individual will work with various customer teams, including product development, strategic sourcing, and marketing, to design tailored solutions that align with Kerry’s capabilities and the customer’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Growth Achievement:

    • Meet sales goals through an in-depth understanding of customer needs and industry trends.
    • Track a dynamic sales pipeline in Salesforce and aim for sustainable growth.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Establish Kerry as a preferred supplier by developing relationships at multiple customer levels.
    • Address customer concerns effectively, including handling competitive threats and product or service issues.
  3. Market and Financial Management:

    • Oversee financial terms in line with Kerry policies and ensure the stability of agreements.
    • Monitor sales volumes, budgets, and margins, taking actions to prevent business loss.
  4. Project Leadership and Development:

    • Identify and advance project opportunities with customers, collaborating with contract manufacturers.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep key customer projects on track, from concept development to execution.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in food & beverage, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industries, ideally with experience in supplement manufacturing or contract manufacturing.

  • Skills:

    • Proven sales performance with a strong orientation toward achieving volume and profit goals.
    • Experience in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and strong presentation abilities.
    • Ability to analyze sales data and use strategic thinking to drive business initiatives.
  • Location & Travel: Remote role, East Coast preferred. Up to 30% travel is required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Typical hiring range is approximately $134,984 annually, influenced by factors such as experience, location, and qualifications.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including incentive programs, stock purchase options, retirement contributions, and more, subject to eligibility.
