The Account Executive will provide strategic counsel to clients, particularly in corporate-facing work. They will manage media relations, drive PR results, and lead projects, especially in the technology space. The role includes building client relationships, developing media materials, and implementing PR programs across business, trade, and thought leadership sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with clients and team leads, ensuring proactive internal and external communication.
- Craft pitches and manage media lists (experience with Cision and MuckRack preferred).
- Plan and implement events such as press conferences, media interviews, and speaker events.
- Write and edit media materials, including news releases, fact sheets, and pitches.
- Understand client business strategies, industry issues, and competitive landscapes.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion within deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional PR experience (internship experience is acceptable, agency experience preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in public relations or a related field.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work independently.
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Excellent writing skills and experience crafting media materials.
- Experience with media monitoring (traditional and social).
- Ability to work directly with clients and contribute to client meetings.
- Interest in corporate/B2B and B2C technology (previous experience is a plus).
- Proven ability to build relationships with media and tailor outreach strategies.
