The Packaging Co-Op Program is a paid, 6-month opportunity from June to December 2025 for undergraduate and graduate students. This hands-on program immerses students in packaging design, development, and sustainability efforts, offering exposure to real-world challenges and opportunities to lead impactful projects.
This program aims to prepare future professionals for roles in Nestlé’s Packaging function through practical experience and mentorship in areas such as sustainability, quality improvement, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Sustainability Initiatives: Lead projects to reduce material usage and qualify alternative materials or processes.
- Performance Testing: Develop protocols and conduct testing for product and package performance in real-world conditions.
- Design and Development: Create new packaging formats for diverse trade channels, such as club stores, grocery, and e-commerce.
- Documentation: Assist with preparing specifications for packaging materials.
- Cross-functional Exposure: Collaborate with corporate and manufacturing teams, visiting factories and supplier locations as needed.

Requirements
- Education: Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science) during the program.
